Women for Refugee Women are raising funds for legal action to shut down the Derwentside detention centre for women, which they rightly call harmful, expensive and unnecessary. To stay alert to potential protests and actions taking place outside Derwentside, follow @4refugeewomen, @EndHassockfield or @No2Hassockfield on Twitter.

On a similar note, Care4Calais and others have been challenging the government's offshore detention deal with Rwanda. At the next hearing on 19th July, join a whole host of organisations in protest outside the Royal Courts of Justice, or join the Twitterstorm.
